CitizenPowered.org -- Free Websites for Everyone

In 2007, Green Street Project collaborated with Chicago Mayor Daley's Office, Interfaith and Community Affairs division, to build a $1.5 million software platform, called CitizenPowered.org that lets any community-oriented group easily setup a free, social-networking website in just minutes.

Piloted in Chicago during 2008, CitizenPowered.org is now available across the country wherever community groups and businesses need to organize their supporters and customers.
