This is a wonderful undertaking. Dr. King once stated that Chicago was one of the most Segregated City in America. I think Chicago has changed, largely because Mayor Richard M. Daley has integrated our City.

Mayor Richard M. Daley has also appointed African Americans to key City Positions (Chicago Public Schools / Michael Scott and Rufus Williams), (Chicago Fire Department / Cortez Trotter), (Chicago Police Department / Terry Hillard and Dana Starks). Mayor Richard M. Daley has also allowed the Consulate Generals of many Countries to have Regional Offices in our wonderful City, thus making Chicago a "International City".
